Stitchola is a hand embroidery site for people who want clear instructions, honest fixes and ideas worth stitching. No fuss and no jargon, just what to do with a needle, some floss and a hoop.
What you’ll find here
- Stitch tutorials. One stitch per page, with the wraps, angles and mistakes that make it go right or wrong.
- Projects. Embroidery for jeans, sweatshirts, bookmarks, gifts and your walls, with a supply list and numbered steps.
- Fixes. Puckers, tangles, knots that pull through, messy backs: what causes them and how to stop them.
- Guides. Fabric, floss, needles and hoops, explained plainly so you buy the right thing the first time.
How we write
Every tutorial is written to be followed with a hoop in your hand. We keep steps short, tell you which stitch to use and why, and say plainly when something is hard. If a technique has a common failure, we explain it in the same article instead of leaving you to find out.
We don’t sell patterns or kits. When we mention a product, it’s because it’s genuinely useful for the project.
